I love this time of year. For about a month - month & 1/2 each winter we get some amount of snow every week or so. It is often only a heavy dusting, but often times more. Last Tuesday it snowed all day and was supposed to stop in the evening. It hardly accumulated during the day, but then it didn't stop until much later that night. By the time I took Lincoln out for a late walk ~10:30, there was ~4 inches on the ground, and by the morning we had ~ 4.5 - 5 inches.
It is cool here because when it is snowing at night and there is snow on the ground, it is so light outside it is almost like daytime. All the city lights bouncing off the clouds and snow.

I absolutely love the snow. I belong in places with snow, and the more the better. I don't think there is such a thing as too much snow. Anyway, here are some picture of my evening walk with Lincoln.
Below is a nice picture of a path near our house. That's Lincoln on the left as the "ghost dog".
Her'e Jackson the next morning sitting in the snow in his snow suit.
We had a beautiful weekend. It was 60 degrees today and sunny. There was hardly any snow left, but we cound a small area of patchy slushy remnants in Valley Forge National Park right by our house. So, we put Jackson on a cookie sheet for his 1st sledding experience. At first he sat up . . . (for the computer illiterate members of the family, push the gray triangle in the lower left of the screen that looks like a play button - this is video).
An then he laid on his back. I think Sarah and I had a lot more fun with it than he did.

awesome snow pictures, man. really like that one where Lincoln looks ghostly. and Jackson is so freaking cute.
How fun that looks...but I don't think I'd be able to handle the cold so well. The snow pictures are beautiful though!
