October is a great month here in southeastern PA. The leaves are in full color, the days are cool and crisp, and there's so much going on. Here's a summary of some of the things we did this month.
Jackson was starting to eat with a spoon, and got pretty good with it by later in the month.
Jackson loves Lincoln, and he's lucky Lincoln is so patient. Jackson tackles Lincoln, pulls his fur, and loves to climb into Lincolns crate with him. Lincoln is a great big brother.
We had dinner with our friends and their 2 adorable daughters. Jackson's working his magic.
The next day is when we took Jackson to the photographer again. If you want to see those pictures again, click here. There are some great ones.
Late in the month, Jon David and I sceemed to surprise Sarah with a visit by Jon David, during which he'd drive up in our new car (thanks maw!). We had a good time. We did some new things, and some of the same things we have to do every time he comes. For exampl, we had to get cheesesteaks from the best cheesesteak place in Philly.
Then we walked a couple blocks away to the Academy of Natural Scienes, where our dinosaur from Argnetina is being worked on. I wanted to show JD what we've done on it. Here's Jackson outside one of the entrances.
I believe this was the same day that we went to on orchard to pick some apples, but it was pouring rain the whole time, so we just bought a ton of apples in their farmer's market.
The next day was gorgous, so we took JD to Chanticleer Gardens. This is the same garden we went to with Sarah's mom just a couple days after Jackson was born. That was late summer, and obviously it is fall now, so it was really nice to see the difference in season. I'd love to come back here in spring. JD took a lot of nice photos.

I cannot get over how grown up Jon David is!! Also, is he wearing a pink hat? Tell your mom HI for me! And give her a BIG hug!
Great posts as usual. The pictures are great. Jon David and you did a wonderful job taking them! We can't wait to see Jackson again. He is so adorable! And, of course, we can't wait to meet baby number 2! Good luck!!
