We went to visit Ed and Jeanette the 2nd weekend of May at their new house on Long Island. It's a beautiful house in a beautiful little town on the south coast, about 60 yards from the ocean.
Unfortunately, we didn't take that many pictures because we forgot Sarah's battery charger. So, Jeanette took a buch for us.
We walked to a park near their house 1 morning.
Jackson kept wanting to hang from the rings. I thought I'd humor him but that he wouldn't be able to do it at all. Boy, did he surprise me. he could hang up there for a long time!
Jackson likes to swing, but he won't take both hands off the seat. It took a while, but he would eventually put up 1 hand. I think we got him to finally do 2 hands, but only for a second.
We went to visit Jeanette's brother, sister-in-law, and their son . They had lots of toys in their back yard that Jackson loved.
Jeanette's brother, Tommy, is a local volunteer firefighter, and he was nice enough to take us to the fire house, show us all the engines, let Jackson spray a hose, and even take us on a ride. I'm not sure who liked it more - me or Jackson?
