Last night Sarah and I met in the city for the 1st Annual Pre-season Philly Auburn Club Meeting. It is fun seeing old friends that we otherwise only see during fotball season. Plus, we watched the AU-florida game from last year. We won again!
Coach James Willis came to the meeting to talk about the upcoming season. We has an AU linebacker from 1990 - 1992, then played for the Green Bay Packers (1993 - 1995), the Philadelphia Eagles (1996 - 1998) and the Seattle Seahawks in 1999. He is now the linebackers coach at Auburn.
The best part was when he put his hand on Sarah's belly and blessed my boy - he's now destined to be an Auburn football player - only ~18 years from now!
Anyway, it was a good time, he was very friendly, and it got us pumped about football season - now only a little more than a month from preseason practice!

Congratulations on the blessing from the coach. That's awesome. Is Auburn cheerleader the back up plan?
